Anyways, here' some work by Santa Fe based sculptor Adrian Arelo, who earned her MFA from RISD. Her fascinating "Honeycomb Series" incorporates encaustic wax with clay and high-fire glazes, achieving a compelling glossy sheen combined with the subtler look of untreated clay.
